Regional Sales Manager
Role (Purpose of the job)
Responsible for planning and producing brand communication and sales promotion materials. Interacts with sales team, dealers and external organizations (eg. Media, event agency) to develop and implement marketing communication activities.
Key Responsibility
Distributor Management
· Responsible for the sale of Volvo Construction Equipment imported or locally made, through designated group of distributors
· Seek, evaluate , recommend on appointment & cancellation of distributors
· Recommend on distribution channels to effectively market and service the products
·  Support, motivate and develop the distributors to effectively sell and service Volvo Construction Equipment
· Evaluate individual distributor performance and determine actions to improve
· Motivate the distributor salesmen
· Direct & arbitrate sales & distribution conflicts in the field
Market Assessment 
· Evaluate market potential and requirements
· Obtain and analyze market and competitor information in order to provide feedback to management for marketing & product strategy 
· Evaluate competitive situation and industry
Sales Promotion and reporting
· Take the lead in sales calls, customer profile development
· Direct sales & promotional activities through relevant distributors to enhance product image and improve coverage
· Evaluate & report market potential, customer requirement, and competitive situation
· Provide VOLVO CE & with periodic prospects reports, lost reports, and product forecasts( Webinfo and other reports)
· Coordinate field service support & training to distributors provided by VOLVO CE Business Lines
· Work with Customer Support Personnel on any operational issues and any activities requiring CST support
· Coordinate sales and service training activities involving distributors
· Coordinate advertisement placement on designated media by distributors in order to smooth the process through Volvo CE Marking Communication.
· Addressing business inquiries and correspondence on company product through distribution in order to satisfy customers
Main competence requirements
· 5 years experience in marketing and direct sales in heavy equipment industry
· Good business sense
· University degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
· Fluent English and Mandarin
